Research interests:
Alejandra López Martín is a PhD researcher focused on investigating which responses are being articulated in southern European cities to address the ecosocial crisis through the analysis of the governance model, social conflict and collective action, social innovation initiatives and the role of the commons in the process towards climate resilience and ecosocial transition. This work is a result of participating in the project “ECOSOCITIES: Urban recovery agendas and citizenship practices in the face of the ecosocial crisis: discourses and initiatives”, and a FPI grand, both funded by financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. In the field of research, she has previously collaborated on projects related to participatory urban design methodologies, and environmental and urban conflicts and the post-growth agenda. As a social worker and social and cultural anthropologist, her previous experience is mainly in the field of social intervention and community building in the areas of care, non-formal education, community mediation and conviviality, and facilitation of participatory processes.Researchers projects:
