Research interests:
International Economics, International Trade, Creativity and innovation, Creative and knowledge industries, Entrepreneurship, creativity and innovationJoaquin Turmo Garuz holds Ph. D. in Economics; he is specialized in international economics and knowledge economy. Between 2006 and 2010 he has been involved in an European research project dealing with these issues. Since 2012 he has been working on sectoral features of knowledge economy and on the labour market insertion of graduates; he has been involved in different Research projects dealing with these issues.
He currently teaches Macroeconomics and International Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UB. He has also taken part in various teaching innovation projects on the gender perspective in university teaching.
